Guest guest
As parents of special needs children, it is very easy for us to forget to take a little time for ourselves and let go of the mental tension that can build up. So there is something that I'd like to share with you. This past Thursday (4/3), was the first ever webcast [including Q & A] with Barry and Samahria Kaufman. My husband and I have been learning from the Kaufmans for a while now, and it has enriched and calmed our life, as well as helped us greatly with navigating our daughter's Autism. The archive of that webcast can be viewed at: http://www.option.org/ http://www.option.org/video/ They discussed and answered questions about a myriad of issues, including of course having a child with Autism. Feel free to forward this post. Peace be with you!--- ********************************************* There is no such thing as " false hope " ! http://www.autismtreatmentcenter.org/ <http://www.autismtreatmentcenter.org/> http://www.autismtreatmentcenter.org/contents/programs_and_services/books_tapes_\ and_videos.php <http://www.autismtreatmentcenter.org/contents/programs_and_services/books_tapes\ _and_videos.php> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ speaking about Sen. said " ...he was the single most optimistic person I'd ever known. He honestly believed that if people of good will put their effort in something; if they worked hard enough, anything was possible... " In my heart, I believe that too!
