I feel like I just can't win! For years, my daughter has been plagued with

obsessive thoughts. I just found out that she has OCD. They put her on Prozac

and it is WONDERFUL!!! It is like I have MY child back. She is also starting

CBT. She had her assessment yesterday and begins actual therapy on 10/8

However, she also has ADHD and is on Vyvanse for it. The Vyvanse was

controlling the ADHD pretty good until we started the Prozac. Now she talks

non-stop and I just got a call from the school about it.

I don't know what to do. I have a call in to her doctor, but I would like to

know if anyone else has experienced this. Does the Prozac counteract the

Vyvanse?

I mean...the excessive talking is probably inherited. My whole family loves to

talk. I am not sure if this is something I should punish her for or not. Is

this something she can even control? Her teacher doesn't seem very sympathetic.

I did not tell him that she has OCD, but I did tell him she has ADHD and has

recently changed medications. But he didn't seem to care.
