Guest guest
Hi Joan, The DeStress is fine to give with any meds. The Neu-BeCalm'd is the one I would avoid with what is taking, and other things like St. 's Wort or 5-HTP. Those you have to be very careful with drug interactions. As far as the Lexapro, it's fine with anti- psychotics such as Risperdal and Seroquel. I would try the cod liver oil, as our kids usually need the vitamin D which is found in CLO, in addition to DHA and EPA. We use Blue Ice and it comes in several flavors and also gel caps if she can swallow them. takes it right off the spoon no problem. Take care, > lynn-sorry to start a new post! > You mentioned not to give a supplement for anxiety if was still > on Risperdal (and it was so kind of you to remember). Guest guest
Hi Tootie, You can give those together. SSRI's and anti-psychotics are very often given together. The fish oil can be given with any meds and supplements. I'm very concerned about the bowel movement situation, though. She really needs to have an x-ray to see what's going on. My daughter used to have very serious constipation issues, but adding lots of vitamin C and magnesium and getting regular vigorous exercise has allowed to her be very regular. No doubt your daughter is experiencing discomfort and auto-intoxication from lack of proper elimination and this is likely contributing to her screaming and over- sensitivity. Can you get her to a pediatric gastroenterologist, or at least see your regular doctor for a referral? Has she had any blood work or other tests done? You can greatly improve her mood and behaviors if you get to the bottom of some of her physical problems. > Hi my daughter is on risperdal should i give her the zoloft and the > fish oil pills?
