Guest guest
Hi ! A mastopexy LIFTS the breast--cutting away at excess tissue and trimming the areolas to a smaller size. See explantation.com to see a picture. See Ang's story--hers is a good example of a VERTICAL mastopexy with no horizontal lines. There are different styles of mastopexy--CONCENTRIC (an incision around the areola) and anchor, the lollipop cut with a horizontal line in the crease under the breast--this is the least desirable. Also, there is an L mastopexy, the lollipop with a short horizontal line in the crease pointing in one direction. There are probably more but these are the ones I'm familiar with. I hope this helps. Take care. -Marie
Guest guest
There are some great realistic photos on this website such as meand Tracey who all had vertical lifts as well and have NO HORIZONTAL scars either, the fact is that Ang had a really good lift but she also had really nice breasts are that that of a 27 year old, so depending on what age you are you should look at all the different pictures to get a realistic view of what you might look like, not all of us will be a C cup after explant, and for those of us with A cups or who have stretch marks and were extremely saggy the result of the lift will be different. I don't know of any one of the girl on my page that had any other type of left other than a vertical, oh yeah there is a great photo from a Dr Huang patient on this site too she had a vertical lift as well and there are the before and after photos too. I also have a very close up of my incision and you can see clearly there are NO crease scars in that picture. Most PS do not use anchor lifts anymore, they are very outdated and rarely does anyone need that, it is often used in breast reductions however. Good luck girl In @y..., perlesetlacet@a... wrote: > Hi ! > A mastopexy LIFTS the breast--cutting away at excess tissue and trimming the > areolas to a smaller size.
