Guest guest
Hi group, we are passing on this information to you from Helen Poskitt who is writing a new book and wants to interview those who live alongside OCD. Apparently she's also written an earlier book. Her website states: Rising to the Surface (Chipmunkapublishing, 2007) is Helen's first novel. Having experienced Obsessive Compulsive Disorder at close quarters, she was driven to write about OCD in order to increase public understanding of and sympathy for this common condition. Helen delivered a humorous Presentation to an OCD Conference (LSE, 2009). She has also contributed amusing Blogs to OCD Action's website. So - here is Helen's request to our group members: Hi, I have been commissioned by LionHudson to write a practical guide for those living or working with people with OCD. I wish to interview relatives and colleagues of those with OCD, so that your advice and experience can help others living in a similar situation. I will be dealing with your experience of OCD-sufferers of all ages - from young children to octogenarians. If you are willing to kindly donate half an hour of your time, I would be very grateful (as will be future readers). I am based in London and can travel anywhere in town, otherwise the interview would be by 'phone or email. Anonymity is of course guaranteed, unless you request to be named in the book. To learn more about me and my work please go to www.helen-poskitt.com Thanks, Helen Poskitt http://www.helen-poskitt.com/2011/07/28/a-practical-guide-for-carers-of-people-w\ ith-ocd-new-book/
