Hi- I'm so afraid that my 3 yr old daughter will also have OCD like my 7 yr old

....anyone have any thoughts on the sibling having OCD as well? Also my daughter

has pretty much been OCD free all summer but if I even mention school I can see

her get angry and anxious. I am so afraid to see that OCD come out again, but

I'm thankful for a great summer without OCD running our house. Anyone have this

experience with their child?

help me with my daughter. She actually considers him to be her father.

about school starting(a distraction)-she's so driven-part of the OCD and

everything has to be perfect-another part of OCD. We had no idea it was OCD

until we started educating ourselves and putting everything together. We believe

this started when she was younger. She has told us thoughts and issues she had

when she was younger but was afraid to tell us. Worried we would think something

was wrong with her..etc.

them prior to school starting. Our first meeting is next week.I feel lucky that

she's in the school she is in.

I started on as well when I was 17. Her OCD came out of no where. I could

Also what are anyone's thoughts on making the teacher aware of their childs OCD

prior to their teacher getting to know him or her? I just don't want that to be

he first thing the teacher knows about her but it's important for her to know in

case any accommodations need to be made. Thoughts?
