Guest guest Posted July 4, 2011 Report Share Posted July 4, 2011 I am wondering if any of you have any thoughts on weather a dog can be helpful in calming the anxiety in OCD kids. Our 12 ds loves playing w/small dogs at friends houses and says it makes him feel better. I am not anti dog, I just feel over welmed w/kids, business and especially schooling issues related to OCD and do not need one more person/pet to take care of so we are hesitant to get one. The flip side is if it really was helpful, than my husband and I agree we should seriously consider it.
