Guest guest
Hey everyone, Allie's got a new behavior. She took her flat sheet of her Winnie the Pooh set & started walking around the house, first with it rolled up into a snake-like length around her back and hanging down the front from each elbow, sort of like actresses wear shawls at the Emmys. Then I noticed she keeps pulling it around her waist, sometimes wanting me to tie it. I'm wondering if she's doing it for the pressure, or to cover her belly 'cause she keeps wearing her Dora costume shirt, which is way too small (remember the plumber gene conversation?) But, she does it even when she's got a coat on over it. Here's her favorite set-up. She puts on her Dora shirt, then another shirt over it 'cause we have a " dora shirt only at home rule " and then her jeans, shoes, and coat, sheet is tied around her waist, and she has her backpack of art stuff. I find it very cute, but I do realize publicly it's not among a more average look of near 9 year-olds. You all think she's wanting pressure? I know in the past they've used pressure belts on her, I was thinking of getting a back brace, one of those ace-bandage type things that velcros around the waist, & seeing if that might do the trick. TIA, Debi
