Hi all,

I think it was Penny, Abby's mom who mentioned a product called

Becalmed, or something similar, for anxiety? I neglected to copy the

info down, and hope someone can recall the exact name? Also, does

anyone know how much DMG to give for a 13 year old, weighiing 150 lbs?

You there, lynn? You had mentioned something you use, as well,

that I didn't write down. Still trying to cope with the anxiety issues

with 's onset of puberty without resorting back to meds.

Warm Wishes to all~ Joan-'s mom

Hi Joan,

If my memory serves me (and those I mention please feel free to

correct me if I get something wrong), Pennie is (or was) using

DeStress with Abby. I think it was (another 's mom) who

brought up the topic of BeCalm'd.

Last time I heard from you, was tapering off of Risperdal. Is

she off of it now? I hope so. It's also important to know this,

since many of the anti-anxiety supplements cannot be given with anti-

psychotics like Risperdal, nor MAO inhibitors.

DeStress is good and very safe. Actually, there is a new version of

BeCalm'd called Neu-BeCalm'd, and I highly recommend this as well.

DeStress and Neu-BeCalm'd can be taken together and do not interact.

Other things I recommended were StressAssist, which contains B-

vitamins and other stress reducing ingredients such as L-theanine and

ashwaghanda, a DHA and EPA supplement such as krill oil,

passionflower and lecithin.

As far as the DMG, there is no specific weight related dosage.

Depending on how quickly DMG is metabolized, someone 's age

would need between 4-8 (125 mg. caps) or more per day. You just need

to work your way up to the most effective dose. Also, remember to

give folic acid with this, generally two 800 mcg. caps with each DMG.
