Guest guest
Just got back from visiting my son at 's for mom's day. Was great to see him, he is continuing to make progress, however he still has a LONG way to go. Seeing him again this weekend just further confirmed why there's absolutely NO WAY he can be moved at this juncture. He's holding steady now at 118 lbs., which is certainly much better than 107, but he started at 135. So it's not horrible, but it's not wonderful either. There is no question in my mind that if he were moved now he would get down to a skeletal weight in no time flat (among other things) and it would be life threatening for him. I'm meeting with a patient advocate tomorrow afternoon I found through a friend of a friend, so we'll see how it goes. She recently dealt with a case involving Tourettic OCD, so her researcher has already complied a lot of information on treatment modalities, effectiveness, etc. My son definitely falls into the Tourettic OCD category, so I think this will be very helpful for his case. I'll keep you posted.........
