NEW OCD SUPPORT FOR TEENS GROUP READY!! AGES 13-20

My 16-year-old daughter , who has OCD, has started up a new on-line support

group for teens with OCD (ages 13 to 20). I am a parent moderator of this new

group, and I am in the process of finding at least one OCD therapist who can

also moderate the group to help answer questions about OCD treatment. and I

will very carefully monitor this group and keep it focused on discussions about

how OCD affects the daily lives of teens and how they can manage their OCD

better.

If you are a teen with OCD, feel free to join this new group. If you are the

parent of a teen with OCD, feel free to let your teen know that we have this

new, well-moderated group available for teens with OCD. We have the backing of

the International OCD Foundation in this effort.

We only have 3 members right now, but we hope to grow this into a good-sized,

active group of teens discussing how to better manage our lives with OCD. Keep

in mind that this is not just a social group; this is a group dedicated to

helping teens with OCD gain support from their peers and work on fighting their

OCD.
