,

This is great to hear! Hang in there and keep plugging away.

A little good news

We are still in a holding pattern with the insurance debacle, but in the

meantime, my son is now up to 120 lbs.!! I'm so thrilled that he is continuing

to gain weight and is also progressing in other areas. Still at a slow pace, but

at least moving in the right direction. I think him being at a more healthy

weight will definitely help him to be stronger mentally as well as physically.

When your body is not getting the nourishment it needs the brain function

suffers as well, and in his case, I think it was especially difficult.

I've been working around the clock with the insurance situation and have an

advocate who is helping me put everything together for our appeal. It's a ton of

work, but I will not give up. When this is all said and done and I have a chance

to catch my breath, I will try to put together a document with some of the

resources, organizations, etc. that have been helpful with this process.

Wow, 120 lbs, that is great!! I've been reading some past posts, so sorry for

your run of bad luck (BCBS insurance, car, your illness...), hopefully that is

over.

Happy you found an advocate to help too, a lot of work but at least someone is

helping with the burden!
