Guest guest
My name is Willie Gendke and I live in Tenaha, TX. I subscribed as wgendke@.... I milk a Jersey cow which give my family a lot of raw milk. We drink and cook with it, as well as make cheese, and anything else I can think of. Today I am making mozzerella, ricotta, and farmers cheese. We are getting on the average 2 1/2 gallons per day not counting what the calf gets. That's a lot of milk for 3 people, but I have a lot of friends who are ready and willing to take any I don't need!!! I really don't know if raw milk can be sold in Texas, as I've never tried to purchase any. I grew up drinking raw milk from a Jersey and now, after having lived abroad for several years, have returned home and started milking again. I have a 12 year old daughter that I have been wanting to get onto raw milk for several years. I believe that milk fresh from the cow is the best you can possibly get. I joined this group because I am interested in learning more about the benefits of raw milk. I also read and follow much of what Weston Price publishes online. Thanks for allowing me to join.
