I'm so sorry for your family's pain. If you can find the right MD & therapy -

things will definately get better!

Keep working at finding the right MD - I don't think those meds are

working....The weight gain just adds to his frustration....

I believe there is a DR associated with this group - where you can pose

questions...perhaps you can get some answers/MD recommendations that way....

Jody,how old is your son? I am on long island + use dr haggerty and dr sverd,the

former is associated with mather hospital which has a huge childrens mental

health unit

Jodi,  I wish I could be of more help, but live in another state.  I can say

that I understand about the frustration and how this illness affects the entire

family.  There is nothing wrong with you, we are only human and I bet everyone

has lost their cool and yelled and screamed at their kids at some point.  (I

know we have).  I see a therapist to help me learn how to deal with my son and

just to unload at times.  I am hoping my dh will agree to do same.  Don't beat

yourself up, and try to find a way to get a break from it all, if possible.
