Guest guest
My 10 yo OCDer has been doing very well. (keeping our fingers crossed!!) She fell and hurt her foot the other day. We had to have it xrayed. She is my injury prone child, so she has had xrays before. She is always scared/nervous when the tech leaves her sight to go check the pictures. This time, when she was done, she told me she was NOT scared when the tech left! This has been HUGE for her!!!! Horray! Her foot is not broken, thankfully, just sprained and not too badly. She is on crutches, but has had them twice before, so she gets around pretty well. Anyone else's OCD child injury prone?? Sharon
Guest guest
Sharon, that is success! Had to smile, wonder if repeated " exposure " has helped overcome her fears/nervousness, etc. Glad she's fine and glad she's handling the medical stuff well! > > My 10 yo OCDer has been doing very well.
