switching from zoloft to prozac

Sent this earlier but it never showed up, so I will type a shorter version.

My daughter (16) is switching from 150 mg daily of zoloft to prozac. Her doctor

said she could stop zoloft cold turkey and begin prozac. I told him I thought

there always had to be a tapering, so to alleviate my worries he said to follow

this schedule. Take zoloft at 100mg for 1 week, then 50 mg for 1 week then stop

- at same time begin prozac at 20 mg per day for 2 weeks then begin taking at 40

mg.

Can anyone who has been thru a switch or knows about this please tell me if this

sounds like an appropriate time frame.
