Guest guest
You'll find the best recipes if you " google " " oatmeal souffle " . Here's a sample of one that is close to one I make. http://www.razzledazzlerecipes.com/breakfast-dishes/oatmeal-souffle.htm After many years of making it, though, I've come up with a number of variations, none of them written down. Basically, I'd double this one for a 9x13 pan which gives you leftovers. And you know, of course, to use regular old-fashioned oats, letting them soak in the milk overnight. I never use more than 1/3-cup sugar for a 9x13 pan - just can't take much sugar taste anymore, but it needs something. Also, I add 2 T whey to the soak mix, seldom use raisins, always use organic dates or figs, regular good old high-fat cream cheese, and NT-style nuts, either walnuts or pecans. You can also mash a banana or two, as well as some orange zest. If you go the banana/orange zest route, use sliced almonds for the nuts - and a handful of coconut. You can do whatever you want to this recipe and you can't hurt it. Guest guest
, Here's one my dh made for me on Mother's Day. http://www.virtualcities.com/ons/va/r/var86011.htm Same is true for this as the other - use real foods - whole milk, old-fashioned oats, whole milk, etc., etc. Sharon, NH On 1/3/06, Siemens <mandamom2many@...> wrote: > > I am looking for an NT friendly baked oatmeal recipe. > >
