Hi,

I have posted, but have been very busy with other issues and now, I see that

my 7 dd's OCD can't be put off any longer.

The issue that has become quite problematic is bedtime.

She has to go to the bathroom in the exact way her brain tells her to, or

she has to do it all over again. (for example, the toilet paper has to be

exactly centered, has to be quick). So, she lies in bed and can't get the

thought that she has to go to the bathroom out of her mind, and yet she is

so tired she wants to sleep. She cries because she can't sleep.

Sometimes she goes to the bathroom 15 times in about 30 minutes. Or wakes

at night and starts this.

There are other things too, but this is the issue that has me thinking I

must address this now. There is another issue that disrupts her sleep. Her

blankets have to be just so. She can't sleep under them or she'll wake up

and feel that something is not right and she has to straighten the covers.

So, she sleeps on top of most of her blankets.

Can anyone advise me on one of the most helpful books on the topic and any

other advice on how to help her.

- I've got another child spiraling out of control and about to be kicked out

of a private school. So my ability to research all this stuff is limited at

the moment. Appreciate any assistance in getting me in the right direction.

Vicki
