Raw Milk Lobby Day in land

Today in polis, MD members of MICFA (land Independent Consumers and Farmers Association) provided a brunch for legislators and their aides. We had LOTS of them show up to sample farm fresh raw milk, butter, cheese and meals made with these ingredients and other fantastic farm products. Members of MICFA also lobbied the delegates on a raw milk bill which Delegate Nic Kipke will be introducing in a few days. We have lots of bi-partisan support for the bill. Sally Fallon was on hand to discuss raw milk with everyone and was able to visit a few of the delegates as well. A big THANK YOU goes out to Sally for her help. Also, a huge THANK YOU to the organizers and food donators. Any of you landers who have not yet done so, PLEASE contact your delegates and tell them you support and you want THEM to support Delegate Kipke's bill. (As soon as I get a number, I will post it so you can give them that number as well. ) If your delegate is a member of the HEALTH & GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS COMMITTEE, PLEASE, make sure they know you support this bill. This is the committee who will be holding the hearing on our bill. Even if your delegate is not on this list, you can contact the Chair's office and tell them YOU support this bill.
