Perhaps the dumbest thing I ever did was to buy a snake; a burmese python to be precise. They are supposed to be friendly, and even affectionate. (They can develop a crush on you.) But at 16 feet long and well over 200 lbs. I must admit with the princess, I am glad he has passed away. Natural causes. Once I take a pet, I believe it is mine to care for forever. The rottweilers can be stubborn, and the cats aloof, but I've never been bitten more often than by this pet. My advice. Stick to furry animals. They are more likely to return the love.
