Guest guest
Bill, I have to disagree. The taxpayer is NEVER getting a good deal when tax money is taken from them at the point of a gun and given to someone else to support their private enterprise. A farm is a business, and a business...ANY business, be it farm, retail store, artist, or anything else...should succeed or fail on it's own merits, not bve propped up by tax money stolen from taxpayers. If a farmer cannot succeed without government money, then he should not succeed. It is NOT my job to build fences, manure lagoons, or chicken manure sheds ANYWHERE except on MY farm.
