Guest guest
I to be of able to relate to the use of containers even after being of potty trained. My youngest son use to do of this and would do both or either or in containers and or pee in the heater vents, and or go to the bathroom and pee in the waste basket or bathtub or shower, it would be to cycle and he would do the right choice of doing it in the toilet for months and then without warning back to the containers again. He did be to stop this altogether too by the age of 11 or maybe 12. It was of quite frustrating and I to felt too it was of sensory based and or a processing issue. He often seemed to have of more tics during those times and or was loud and in over stimulated modes for a few weeks during that time so that is of why I to felt it was of sensory based of processing issues. My michael was of much so a loud kiddo with lots of sounds almost constant sounds. and he needed to pounce, jump, crash himself into things, flipping self and much so he was so much so over active and into a hyper reactive state more than one could keep up with to try to calm him and then when he would go to the hypo states of just not really doing anything but laying around sucking hims thumb and watching tv, snuggled to hims cuddly cloth he carried around for much years and still does sleep with it. He craves much deep pressure and inputs. He now at almost 17 does not make those loud sounds non stop but does go there for a brief time and now can be redirected if need be. He is of ever so much different now compared to even 3 years ago. so much progress that hims school psychologist shared he would not place him on the spectrum had he not had the history and reports clearly showing and reporting hims behaviors of the past. Mike can give brief eye contact and such and can pass among most peers but is of still with many spectrum issues. but as shared they are not as pronounced in presentation as they were.
