As far as I know, selling raw milk is totally illegal in Michigan.

I've kept a couple of goats around off & on strictly as pets for years, and never considered that I would have the ability & quite frankly, the ambition to turn my pets into contributing members of the family. But, over the last few years I've gotten tuned into the whole "fresh, healthy foods for my family" ideal.

We raise chickens for the best eggs ever eaten, and turkeys, both for their beauty & our freezer and now we have 3 of our goats ready to freshen.

This is a very exciting time for us. I'm so looking forward to kidding time, learning to milk, and trying some raw milk recipes. This just feels so "right".
