Guest guest
Since I have a 15 month old, I have a lot of friends with 15 month olds. And unfortunately, two of them are already seeing a lot of warning signs for autism in their baby boys. The good news is that their pediatricians are on top of it and sending them for evaluations over the next couple weeks. Naturally, they are freaking out, and doing what I think is the worst possible thing...reading everything online that they can google. You all know how incredibly overwhelming that can be, especially before you even get a diagnosis! I know some good sites, but I want to get some opinions on where you found the most helpful and most reliable information about autism. Especially from those of you who are on the autism spectrum, because I know your advice on what is most important to know will probably be different from what I might think is important. Books too. I've read tons of good books, and some not so good ones, but of course I haven't read everything out there. Thanks! Amnesty
