Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to the group and have never posted a question before, so here goes. I have a 10 year old daughter with autism, and off and on we have had problems with her triggering her own gag reflex. She never (or at least rarely) does it to the point of throwing up, and lately she has been doing it a lot. Her developmental pediatrician said as long as she wasn't throwing up that it wouldn't harm her, but naturally, I would much prefer she wouldn't do this. Has anyone ever had this problem, and do you have any suggestions as to how I can handle it? Thanks in advance for your responses.
