Anyone else watching this on the USA Network? They had an episode last night

with a football player with OCD! He wasn't making it to practice (or anywhere)

on time.

His OCD was where he had to have some things " even " and had things at home all

neat, orderly, and he had to repeat things a lot until it felt " right " and it

was to keep bad things from happening. Showed him exercising, rituals with it,

counting even numbers, having to have his socks pulled up even, would leave the

house and HAVE to go back home (to finish something or because it didn't feel

right to leave yet, I'm not sure)....

Said he'd had it from childhood but got worse (during episode) due to anxiety,

worry about his brother who went to prison, and some things were to keep his

brother " safe " , etc. He

So then Dr. Dani (the psych in the TV show) talked about treatment with him and

how they would work on things. At the end, the scene had her asking him what

he picked that day to work on, and he had chosen his socks to be uneven!

I thought the show did a good job. Showed the intensity of it too.
