Guest guest
As I have posted before, my son plays hockey. Okay, so here's the issue. He thinks it 24/7 probably plays in his sleep, will only talk to his teammates or anyone else who plays hockey. I love to see the passion and determination in him to succeed but in the back of my mind I worry that he will be missing out on so much more. can't really give examples I would take to long but I think you might understand. I'm not into having my child play ten different sports and I think it's good that he has found the one thing that makes him happy and that is where his focus is. But what about outside of hockey, having fun with friends and doing other things.? I think he has found a way to deal with his anxiety/ocd but at the same time has become overly fixated on it. Does that make any sense.? Should I even worry? Pam L.
