Just for more precision :a drowning (noyade) may be the result of

hydrocution, but every hydrocution doesn't mean that there's a drowning. The

definition of drowning being " presence of water in the lungs " . e.g. you may

be the victim of an hydrocution under your shower, and, of course, there

will be no water in your lungs.
