Posted January 10, 2011

Special forces missions are said to fail as often as succeed. Hostage rescues are particularly iffy because they rely on surprise and speed. If they don't get to the hostages fast enough, the hostages can kill them as happened here. Just a pity only three of the terrorists were killed.
