According to some reports some of the oil facilities are burning. If the rebels really wanted to take them they should be focusing on the supply lines leading to it or taking a nearby objective. This would cause the other side to fight away from the plants so the plants won't get damaged. If they are damaged or destroyed, the rebels probably can't fight the fires or effect repairs themselves.
