Guest guest
Hi Suzi, Oh, the old "DH doesn't like it" excuse huh? {LOL} You're definitely forgiven then :-) My DH already thinks I'm a nut with my kefir, kombucha and kimchi. I have mysterious jars all over the kitchen and fridge, some with covers on them! He usually joins me in a glass of kefir with lunch, except when he gets an upset stomach and then he usually blames the kefir and goes off it for a while. He doesn't like kimchi and oddly enough doesn't appreciate kombucha - men! I tell ya! Like you, I try to eat raw for breakfast and lunch - that's easy in the summertime! I also try to serve salads for suppertime whenever possible, and the tahini was a big hit with DH :-) I don't drink caffeine, just the occasional decaf coffee. BTW taking cayenne with my lemon and honey last thing at night has kept me awake for hours the last two nights - it finally dawned on me what was doing it...... Take care, and the (raw) K9's LOL... It is hard for me to be totally raw when I have a DH who is NOT and never will be...

Mine are ripening fast and it's time to think about getting out the dehydrator, but I haven't done them before. Are cherry toms good for dehydrating? I also have some Roma (paste tomatoes, which have less water in them). and the K9's

Just make sure you use your teflex sheets. Or, you can sun dry them (probably best to do with the Romas). Yes, you can dehydrate the cherry toms too. Oh how I would love to grow a garden again. Soon very soon Don. Baby steps. Okay. Hehehehe -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
I have two trays of super tiny ones in the dehydrator right now. I grew a ton of Red Currant tomatoes so they look like little red raisins. I have used grape tomoatoes in the dehydrator before too and Romas. All do well although you really have to cut the romas and sometimes the cherry size in order for them to dry right. They may take a few days to dry and a low heat though. so dont rush em.
