Yes I do understand much better now. Thanks. Caffeine takes time to get out of your system. Several months even. There are lots of ways to bring on more restful sleep besides counting sheep. First, don't drink anything that is even remotely stimulating for several hours before you retire for the night. Chamomile tea or any sedative herbal teas or nervines teas are great relaxers. Meditation before bed is good too. Nice hot bath while drinking a relaxing tea can put one into a slumber mood. Don't read in bed, don't watch TV in bed, don't listen to the radio unless you are listening to something extremely relaxing. The more cleansing you do the more you will see your energy go up. You will see many changes in your emotional, mental and physical bodies. Your day will come Deborah when you will feel really good again. Just believe, have faith and make it happen. Cause only you can do that. Peace be with you Deborah. Good job on staying off the caffeine by the way. Excellent. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
Deborah, endometriosis growths can attach themselves to anything in the abdomenal cavity. There could be numerous ones still in you that cannot be surgically removed. They should have mentioned this by now Anyway, I am guessing that your reproductive system (even though the physical structures are no longer there) is still cycling through hormones. I am thinking the way to go at this is to treat it like you do still have all your parts. In other words, try making up some Female Tonic (hormone balancing) as in the files. Keep exercising and eating right. Take a look at your lifestyle and do some more things for you, like having fun with friends and family and such. Unfortunately all modern medicine will do is keep cutting you open to look and write up rare medical condition articles for the latest edition of medical journals. Just wanting to make sure you didn't have a blind surgeon who didn't know what or where a uterus was located. LOL Or do you still have your fallopian tubes and ovaries? This would make sense if you are still experiencing cysts. I am not an ob/gyn by any means but it seems to me if there are no ovaries there will be no cysts. Tumors maybe but no cysts. To begin with, I had so much pain that I couldn't deal with it any longer. First of all I had one of those minor surgeries where they cut two little holes and go in and look for endometriosis and "found none". A month later they went in and took out the right ovary and uterus and said I was "full of endometriosis". They got all of the endo and there was none on the left side so they left the left ovary. 2 years to the month later they went in and took the left ovary which was so full of endometriosis that they chiseled for an hour and a half until I started bleeding and they got done and closed me up. Now, there is nothing left that I am aware of. However, I am still having female problems, pms, pain, mood swings, yada yada yada. In 1997 they decided to do a blood test to prove to me that it was all in my head and there was nothing going on inside me. The blood test revealed that I had normal hormone levels as a woman with all of her parts. The Dr talked to some specialists (since he hadn't believed me and now doesn't believe the blood tests) and they all say that is impossible. We do the third hysterectomy and they find nothing inside of me. This is when the mystery pain began and I started having new troubles. Blood test reveals same thing. 6 mo later I have another Dr do the next sugery (same office, different Dr) and she finds a piece of ovary and that is the "missing link" that is causing the problems. Blood test shows different now. However, the mystery pain is still there (and still here) and the FMS problems are now showing it's ugly head. Basically, it was this time frame I was diagnosed with FMS. A while later I was diagnosed with Arthritis. 2 days after release from the hospital (4 hyst), ultrasound shows new cysts (tumors?) and there is nowhere for them to attach on to. However, they still come and go and I am not willing to have another surgery just to go in and figure this out. I am the mystery patient to my PCP and the specialists. No one can figure this all out, meaning the mystery pain and the bleeding and the body pain and the joint pain and so forth and so forth. I have blood tests run once a year by my PCP (general purposes) and I did so this past April. June I had the Thyroid blood tests run. As I said, I can see a little difference in my energy level. My mood is better and I am beginning to be a much happier person. I used to be the happiest person you would have ever known and laughed a lot. Took the dog swimming (no I didn't get in the lake) Sunday and took another dog swimming today. I don't know what the mileage for walking on Sunday and today would be. Walked about 4 miles (2miles 2x) Monday. Tired and sore last night but still could tell a little difference. Again, I am nowhere near where I need to be with the diet. Doing what I can right now. Still no caffeine!!!! WOW!! No ICED TEA! I do miss it but I have gone off of it before and been just fine. Not sleeping any better being off caffiene however. Looking forward to the day that I will sleep as hard as I did before all this crap started. Does that explain it any better? The back, 2 carpal tunnels, one more of those endometriosis minor surgery thingies and root canal were all mixed in that same time frame. (Root Canal was late 2003) Deborah

Since I left the job, I have been able to do more things for me and hopefully that will get better also. For the last (almost) 6 years all I have been able to do is work and work and work with an occasional dog show thrown in there! My life is so much better now and so much less stress, I know that will help also. I keep thinking about diet and food (good thoughts, not about what I will eat next time!) and I know that is a good start to eating better and healthier. It will get there, just not as fast as I would hope, but didn't expect! Thanks, Deborah
