What comes after "leave, leave, leave?"

This reminds me of C.S. 's The Screwtape Letters. Screwtape, a senior tempter demon in Hell, described Hell as constantly noisy. So noisy they could barely hear themselves think, and certainly loud enough to drown out the still, small voice even they heard.

Modern studies do show that noise isn't conducive to thought and that combined with large numbers creates a herd effect we call "Mob Mentality." I suppose calling it herd mentality might be too offensive but then it also doesn't convey the menace and threat of a mob. So, all this noise prevents anyone from thinking beyond the simple, shouted slogans and the crowd dynamics literally makes them like a cell bound to the control of the whole.

Well, they will probably regret not having thought for themselves. I'm thinking this could all get really nasty. Suppose the Muslim Brotherhood manages to overthrow many nations and take power in order to re-establish the grand muslim caliphate across North Africa and the Middle East? They've already begun warning the Egyptian people to prepare for war with Israel. Now, suppose they swarm in against Israel and Israel is about to fall. Does anyone think Israel wouldn't use its nukes to take its enemies with it?

They sang nationalist songs, danced, beat drums and chanted the anti-Mubarak slogan "Leave! Leave! Leave!" as military helicopters buzzed overhead. Organizers said the aim was to intensify marches to get the president out of power by Friday, and similar demonstrations erupted in at least five other cities around Egypt.
