That's not surprising. All governments are corrupt to one degree or another, some are worse than others. Our federal government has long been corrupt but the last 15 years or so it has been getting worse. These last few years it has been getting worse much faster and faster. All the regulations, waivers, dirty deals sneaked into legislation to pick favorite companies or even family businesses, etc. It seems that the side benefitting from the corruption is acting up, as in Wisconsin, but those suffering because of the corruption still are doing nothing.
