The only way it won't end in a stalemate is either a lucky kill shot on Qaddafi or ground troops backed up with tanks and other heavy weapons are sent in.

However, I'm not so sure what will come after Qaddafi will be any better than him and it will likely be much worse. Better to have left him in power or even aided him in exchange for some concessions.

I doubt they will ever find him. He will probably hide somewhere in the miles

and miles of tunnels he's dug out for the acquifer and other things.
