Guest guest
Sorry that one got away too quick. This is also good for humans too. I am not suggesting this particular product as much as I am suggesting the combination of herbs and spices. So for those with rheumatism, arthritis and bad teeth here is something to consider. *JOINT PAIN* This formula is intended for use for animals suffering from hip dysplasia, arthritis, trauma etc. to any of their legs and joints. Some of the leading herbs are: *Devil's Claw:* Its is primarily used as an anti-inflammatory, analgesic (pain reduction), antirheumatic and a bitter..for digestion. Which of course is useful in that many on going complaints are aggravated, particularly in the older animal, because digestion and utilisation of nutrients becomes less efficient as aging occurs. Studies have shown it to be as good as phenylbutazone (anti-inflammatory drug) without the side effects. The anti-arthritic or anti-rheumatic symptoms appear to be most releived when Devil's Claw is used for a period of six months or more. The joints most positively affected are the larger joints such as the hips, knees and also the overall spine. *Alfalfa: *This plant is highly under-rated as a tonic, an aid for building strong bones and teeth..and its vitamin/mineral content....particularly calcium, magnesium and manganese, phosphorus and potassium. The roots of alfalfa grow down as far as 125 feet, making it able to reach vital minerals, far beyond the reach of other vegetation. It promotes strong bones and rebuilds decaed teeth. It is also useful for lumbago, rheumatism, dyspepsia (indigestion), backache, chronic ulcer, infections of the sinus, ear nose and throat. Rich in chlorophyll, it stimulates growth of supportive connective tissue and is useful for collagen disease, and therefore arthritis, etc. *Horsetail: *High in silicea, horsetail acts as a remineraliser and anti-rheumatic. It assists in preserving the elasticity of connective tissue and controls the absorption of calcium. Its cleasing properties rapidly removes urates, uric acid (gout) and cellulites from the system. *Tumeric: *Has many, many wonderful uses...including anti-inflammatory for arthritis and particularly rheumatoid arthritis, which responds to very few things. As an added bonus, though, Tumeric is one of the best antioxidants, anti-cancer and cholesterol lowering herbs. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
