Of course most of the people don't care either so when one hits, it will be as much their fault too. I really think that a really big asteroid could blast a new crater on the near side of the moon or a much smaller one could blast a big crater or even take out a small town, but the people would forget all about it in a couple of weeks and would fight spending money to prevent another strike. " I have found that unless it happens to themselves or someone they know, most people don't care about anything that happens.
