Your original hysterectomy was in '87. Then you had maybe an salpingo-oophorectomy or two (as in bilateral) in '89? Then you had cysts removal after that in '97? Is this correct? Just wanting to make sure you didn't have a blind surgeon who didn't know what or where a uterus was located. LOL Or do you still have your fallopian tubes and ovaries? This would make sense if you are still experiencing cysts. I am not an ob/gyn by any means but it seems to me if there are no ovaries there will be no cysts. Tumors maybe but no cysts.

To begin with, I had so much pain that I couldn't deal with it any longer. First of all I had one of those minor surgeries where they cut two little holes and go in and look for endometriosis and "found none". A month later they went in and took out the right ovary and uterus and said I was "full of endometriosis". They got all of the endo and there was none on the left side so they left the left ovary. 2 years to the month later they went in and took the left ovary which was so full of endometriosis that they chiseled for an hour and a half until I started bleeding and they got done and closed me up.

Now, there is nothing left that I am aware of. However, I am still having female problems, pms, pain, mood swings, yada yada yada. In 1997 they decided to do a blood test to prove to me that it was all in my head and there was nothing going on inside me. The blood test revealed that I had normal hormone levels as a woman with all of her parts. The Dr talked to some specialists (since he hadn't believed me and now doesn't believe the blood tests) and they all say that is impossible. We do the third hysterectomy and they find nothing inside of me. This is when the mystery pain began and I started having new troubles. Blood test reveals same thing. 6 mo later I have another Dr do the next sugery (same office, different Dr) and she finds a piece of ovary and that is the "missing link" that is causing the problems. Blood test shows different now. However, the mystery pain is still there (and still here) and the FMS problems are now showing it's ugly head. Basically, it was this time frame I was diagnosed with FMS. A while later I was diagnosed with Arthritis. 2 days after release from the hospital (4 hyst), ultrasound shows new cysts (tumors?) and there is nowhere for them to attach on to. However, they still come and go and I am not willing to have another surgery just to go in and figure this out. I am the mystery patient to my PCP and the specialists. No one can figure this all out, meaning the mystery pain and the bleeding and the body pain and the joint pain and so forth and so forth. I have blood tests run once a year by my PCP (general purposes) and I did so this past April. June I had the Thyroid blood tests run.

As I said, I can see a little difference in my energy level. My mood is better and I am beginning to be a much happier person. I used to be the happiest person you would have ever known and laughed a lot.

Took the dog swimming (no I didn't get in the lake) Sunday and took another dog swimming today. I don't know what the mileage for walking on Sunday and today would be. Walked about 4 miles (2miles 2x) Monday. Tired and sore last night but still could tell a little difference.

Again, I am nowhere near where I need to be with the diet. Doing what I can right now.

Still no caffeine!!!! WOW!! No ICED TEA! I do miss it but I have gone off of it before and been just fine.

Not sleeping any better being off caffiene however. Looking forward to the day that I will sleep as hard as I did before all this crap started.

Does that explain it any better?

The back, 2 carpal tunnels, one more of those endometriosis minor surgery thingies and root canal were all mixed in that same time frame. (Root Canal was late 2003)
