Guest guest
Ive been wondering the same thing! what about the good bacteria! SCD and microbes , In " The Book " , Elaine says that " by maximally nourishing the individual and minimally nourishing the intestinal microbes.......leaves no food for the microbes, thereby diminishing them " But what about the good microbes? don't they need food? what do they eat? Trust me, there's no way for you to sterilize your digestive tract by following the SCD! There'll always be plenty of food for good bugs as long as you eat a good, clean diet. What you want to do is choke back overgrowths -- and even good organisms can cause harm when they overgrow. -

My question was really a comment on the simplicity of the statement in the book. I must say that for the last seven days on SCD there have been some very noticeable new aspects of my urination which i am hoping is an indication of some positive changes taking place.. perhaps.some undesirable organisms gently taking their leave.
