Guest guest
- >His (cartoon) >doctor said gout is caused by a high purine diet. Is there any truth >to this? And if so, what would constitute high? Purines used to be blamed for gout, but from what I've read, they only become a problem once someone has gout. Actually, I looked into this several years ago out of curiosity, but now I can't seem to dig up any of the research materials I'd found. At any rate, Price's healthy primitives all went after high-purine foods, so purines by themselves simply aren't a cause for concern. -
