This quake was some 70 miles northeast of Hot Springs. However, there is another set of springs to the northeast of this particular quake about 20 miles away. While looking at the maps, I noticed something. A short distance to the north of this quake there are two small rivers. One is your typical snake-like little thing but almost on top of it is another river that runs almost straight for about 30 miles from Heber Springs to Springfield. It looks like it follows a kind of valley for that whole length. It seems to run out before it reached the river and doesn't continue on the other side of it and stretching out the line it would run well north of Hot Springs.

To the south of the river around ville is an interesting valley like formation. It long and narrow with a ring of hills surrounding it, like a fingerprint.

Here are the coordinates for the quake and you can see the rivers I'm talking about to the north starting around Twin Groves.
