Hope that helps. ----- Hi Isabelle and Stefanie: without more context I would hesitate to use " Lachsoel " . An extract is usually an aquous solution (unless stated otherwise). If someone told me to prepare a salmon extract, I would soak raw or cooked salmon in water. After a couple of hours, the fat ( " salmon oil " ) would separate and swim on top of aquous solution ( " salmon extract " ).
