I just found out my youngest brother is moving to Las Vegas (from

North Dakato) - I just want to cry! I'm happy for him because

careerwise it's a good move - architects don't make that much money

here and he'll be able to work on some projects there that N.D. will

never see (big hotels, casinos, etc.). I'm happy for him but sad too.

I finally get back home and now he is leaving. We are a close family

and I love when our whole family is together.

Guess I'll have to start finding some money to put away on a trip to

LV. Maybe I'll even get to taste your food Nate!!! You'll have to

post the name of the place you are working at again when you get a

chance (if your reading this and not in the middle of your move).

I don't have a lot of extra cash at the moment but I'll give what I

can to Amy's fund. I started using the envelope way of spending money

(alloting so much a month for a budget and putting the cash in an

envelope) and I used up all our entertaining/dining out money already

- I have three weeks of this month left. Talk about the pits. No

wonder I always went way over budget on stuff. LOL

Thanks for letting me dump . . . once again.

PUUUULEEASSE don't even sweat the money for me... I'm sure whatever I

get will be welcome, and at the prices I've checked, i can handle

chipping in some of my own money (of course!)

My garsh, definetly use that money to visit your brother!! I

wouldn't think of letting you do elsewise with it...

I'm so sorry to hear! I'm close with my brother too, and I think I

would be devastated too if mine moved far away. As of now, he's only

10 min, and I hope to keep it that way!!!!

Oh no Amy, I for sure want to help - it just might not be a heck of a

lot. I wish I was rich so I could have a lot more money to spread

around. LOL

I'll get to see my brother - everything always works out even if

sometimes it doesn't seem like it is going to. Maybe this will push

me to get that letter sent to the seller of our house finally

starting the proceeds for court so HE can help pay some of these bills

repairing the water damage!!!!!! It's funny, as kids and I did

NOT get along very well at all. No one else could pick on him - but I

could. It was because we were so much alike I think. After I left

home, I am a lot closer to both my brothers and can't imagine not

having them there. It's dumb, because will still be " there " but

it's funny how when there are so many states put in the way - it seems

so different. Ah Life.

I can relate. My best friend just moved a few weeks ago to LV and I miss her

terribly. We were like sisters and did so much together. She 'always

understood' whatever I was going through. But it was such a good thing for

her, that I'm extremely happy for her too. I'm also thankful for the

internet cuz it saves on phone bills :)

le,

I'm sorry your brother is moving away! I know how tough that is! My

brother lives in Atlanta and I don't get to see him nearly as much as

I'd like to! But, it makes the time that we DO get to spend together

extra special :)
