The best for you both would actually be apple juice or maybe carrot juice to start. Juicing will be much easier on his stomach than eating, much easier. If you can figure out a way to juice apples and carrots without a juicer more power to you. However, you might consider, not the best option, but blending the apples or carrots and straining out the pulp. Won't be anywhere near as efficient though. But will work. Or, you can leave the pulp in but you might have to add some distilled water to thin it down some. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
I have all of those symptoms as well, except for the burping. I cannot burp or vomit since my surgery a couple of years ago. We do the juice cleanse once a month, should do it more, I know. We don't have a juicer either. A blender works okay, just not as much produced as with a juicer. But it is better than nothing. And our local co-op juices by request, so we can just order our juice ahead of time and have it ready when we cleanse. "We" here refers to my wife Marilyn and I. I think you will be amazed by the results of the juice cleanse!!! Decent brands, most hardly- if any use at all.Pam--------------------> Hey...I've been looking at the juice fast for both myself & my friend as > a good "post-smoking" cleanse...I think we both need it, and we can't > afford the herbs to do a total-body one yet...but my question is, as you > probably know he's suffering from indigestion, some heartburn, lots of > burping and occasional mild nausea...can he do the juice cleanse, or > will it upset his stomach even more?> > Also, I don't have a juicer...can it be done without one, say with > elbow-grease instead? > > Thanks as always,> ST> __________________________________________________>
