I'm sure this surprises no one. Of course, if history holds, he will probably end up in prison in a few years anyway, that is if the Republic still stands.

The Illinois Supreme Court ruled 7-0 that former Obama administration official Rahm Emanuel can run for mayor of the nation's third-largest city. The unanimous decision almost certainly ends a three-month roller-coaster campaign to force the former White House Chief of Staff off of the ballot to replace outgoing Mayor M. Daley. It also opens the door for a first-round win on Feb. 22 by Mr. Emanuel, whose popularity has surged during the ballot dispute. In a 25-page order, the high court ruled that Mr. Emanuel is a legal resident of Chicago, overruling an appellate court that had ruled him off the ballot because he didn't qualify as a resident.http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703893104576108584106577482.html?mod=djemalertNEWS
