Guest guest
Around here you typically see obese kids with obese parents. The kids are just following the parental example. I have a friend here who is very much into history. Some distant relations of his came to visit and wanted to see local sites. They had a big breakfast before coming to see him, stopped at a fast food place for more food on the way to the first site, ate at the cafe there, then stopped to have lunch on the way back. This was all by about 1 PM. My friend feigned illness and called off the rest of the day. Perhaps part of the reason is that so much food is just empty calories. I don't have anything against snack food, but when much of the rest of the food isn't much more nutritious, something is wrong. My point being that you might think you are eating a meal but if there is no nutrition in it, your body won't be fooled for long. It will scream for more food hoping to get some nutrition and if you stuff it with more dead food, the cycle will go on and on. In a message dated 1/25/2011 2:35:48 P.M.
