Perhaps they should just go back in and hit them harder this time. Its not just the Russians the Chechens are fighting but they were also with the Taliban before the US invaded and were helping the Taliban take over the country. They were reputed to be rather vicious, particularly to prisoners. They've also turned up in the Balkans as well.
