I did a little research on this a while back. The leaders of these bands are known and they have bases. If we had real intelligence assets and we could know when they were home, a couple of B2's flying over the country dropping JDAMS could take out many of them and put the fear into the rest. That's not saying they would stop, not by a long shot, but it would disrupt them somewhat.

If it weren't for Sudan selling oil to Russia and especially China, we could mine their ports until they decided to behave. However, China and Russia wouldn't like that and they are capable of causing us trouble., especially China.

You'd be talking about chasing bands of people around the country and trying to wipe them out. These groups would have shifting alliances depending on who pays them the most or offers them the most benefits for being part of a side. To get the country to work together properly, you'd need to own it and clamp down on it to such a degree that it would exhaust all our resources to do it.Administrator
