Guest guest
We put a little too much faith in superior weapons, particularly since the enemy knows how to get around that. Now, if we were willing to use those weapons to knock out power and water plants, blow up irrigation networks, take out airports and bridges and mine harbors, that might work. I don't think we would though because the international media would be right there with all kinds of video about the suffering of the people. The leaders, like Hezbollah or the mullahs of Iran, wouldn't care about this because they would see what little personal suffering they endure as part of the war effort, and they certainly wouldn't care about the people, aside from how they could use their suffering in the media.
