Guest guest
Hi Connie, Kyodophilus is the probiotic that I use. It is available in capsule form. My cats get one each per day sprinkled on their evening meal. Kyodophilus is great because it is temperature stable, so it doesn't need to be refrigerated. It ain't cheap, but it is meant to be quality stuff. -Jo -----Original Message----- From: Prairiedog momto3 [mailto:prairiedogmomto3@...] Sent: Friday, September 03, 2004 2:39 PM health Subject: intro and probiotics Hi, I'm a new member . my name is connie and I live in manitoba. canada I have several pets and would like to ask a question re probiotics. Guest guest
Hi Connie, Welcome to the list :-) Here's a URL about how yoghurt and kefir are actually better than probiotic capsules http://www.healingcrow.com/ferfun/conspiracy/conspiracy.html I give my dogs kefir which is cheap and easy to make and they LOVE it :-) Check out Dom's Kefir in-site for tons of information on kefir http://users.chariot.net.au/~dna/kefirpage.html and the K9's ----- >I don't want to use yogert, and i know acidophilus is used with humans...what can I use with the animals to promote friendly bacteria?
